RCA 21" corner model 21-D8628 ca: 1958

From my project corner and offered as-is, an un-common, fairly scarce 21" corner model tube type, B&W television from 1958.

Purchased from the original owner several years ago with the intent of restoring it.  I'm running out of years and have far too many projects, so it needs a new home. I have not attempted to operate it as it's my practice not to do such things until I'm ready to get to work on it. I did test the CRT and it tests quite low. CRTs that test in this will usually provide a dim picture when all else is restored and working correctly.

The cabinet is in beautiful condition and has been well care for. Sans for a little household dust the chassis it quite clean and appears unmolested.

I can tell from the screws that hold the back in place that and the overall condition of the back that it's had very little work done on it. How can I tell? -  Typically TV service men had a bad habit of not replacing all the screws after finishing their work. The more work that was done, the fewer the screws that would be replaced.  This happened sometimes because the screw holes would be become enlarged to the point the screws would not hold anymore but more often than not, plain laziness. This set had all the screws in place and the back and screw hold are not damaged.

Offered as-is, as found. Local pick-up only or buyer to make shipping arrangements, I'll do no packing or shipping.
