w/big pin test adaptor

Ca: 1965, a fine lower priced tester that (with an adaptor) will test nearly  all consumer tubes from the late 1920s - 1970s. It does not have the early large pin sockets used in the 1920s - mid '30s. Testing those tubes requires an adaptor. With an adaptor, which can easily be made (click here for more info). The early (large pin) tubes can also be tested as they are included on the roll chart and included in the test set-up book. The 667 will also test transistors.

EICO's  best  tube  tester,  a "Transconductance" tester. The Transconductance test is somewhat similar to a Mutual Conductance tester but uses AC voltages instead of DC and does not provide a direct Gm reading in Micromhos. The test provides the "Merit" of the tube under test with a percentage reading of the expected value. IE, the read-out will show the percentage of a predetermined value for an average tube of the type under test. A Mutual conductance test is best but the Percentage Value test is better than a straight emersion test.

Early, big pin test adaptor is available, click > HERE

THEM ON MY OWN. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO LET ME KNOW OF
ANY ERRORS WHEN DISCOVERED.

I can supply a schematic showing how to make your own adaptor
for testing the early large pin tubes such as 01A, 27, 45 etc.

I also have available several adaptors including a couple of that I
 have made, click > HERE
