Brandes/Kolster Co. ca: mid 1920's

This speaker looks quite nice, original finish and excellent cabinet. However the original speaker suffered from a bad case of pot metal cancer and had to be replaced. The replacement was done with a more modern 6 X 9" speaker and transformer matched so it can be used with the 1920's high impedance applications as did radios of that era required. It works perfect and sounds better than it did originally. The grille cloth was added as originality did not have any cloth. The cone was originally visibly exposed through the grille. flexible cord with phone tips (a $24.00 value).

Circa: mid 1920's
Type: PM, two wire high impedance (can be easily altered for low impedance use)
Labels: none
Grille Cloth: added
Cabinet/Case: all wood, appears to be original
Driver: horseshoe type, original
Measures (approx): 13 x 10 x 7"
weight = 7lb
